How much does it cost?
- Trips are priced based on the locations visited. Prices are listed for each trip in the listing
What is included in the cost?
- Participants are responsible for arriving at the first hotel listed on the itinerary and departing from the airport in the final city. Practically everything in between is taken care of—lodging, meals, in-country transportation, meetings with consultants and students, and more.
What is not included in the cost?
- Transportation to the destination city/hotel
- Transportation from the last city (transportation from the hotel to the departure airport is included)
- Alcohol
- Incidentals (such as laundry, souvenirs, snacks, etc.)
- Entry fees for cultural excursions (these will be optional when available)
What type of payment do you accept?
- We prefer ACH transfers for US schools and bank wires for international schools
- A 4.5% convenience fee is added to credit card payments
How many schools will be in a group?
- Up to 7 schools can register for a trip
Can TAG represent my school for me?
- Most trips will have 1 or 2 spaces available (at a significantly discounted rate) for "promotional materials only." You can mail school materials to the TAG office and the TAG representative will display and distribute your material to agents and students
- For a slightly higher rate, the TAG representative will present your school as well
What do lodgings look like?
- We prioritize Marriott Bonvoy properties when available. You can expect a hotel of this calibre when Marriott properties are not available
- Each representative will have a single room
What does transportation during the tour look like?
- In city. we will use hired cars/vans/buses, taxis, Uber/Lyft, and occasionally trains
- For flights, TAG will purchase a coach seat and cover the cost of one checked bag that meets the weight/size requirements of the airline. The traveler is responsible for any additional baggage fees
Does TAG charge commission for students recruited on a trip?
- TAG operates independently and does not accept commissions from schools or educational consultants. Our revenue comes exclusively from the fees associated with traveling with us
When is payment due?
- Payment in full is due no more than one month prior to the start date
- A 50% deposit can be paid prior to this in order to hold a space
What is the Refund Policy?
- 80% refund when cancelled more than one month to the start date (or 90% credit towards another trip within one year of cancellation)
- 40% refund when cancelled less than one month and more than two weeks before start date (or 50% credit towards another trip within one year of cancellation)
- 30% credit towards another trip within one year of cancellation when cancelled less than two weeks to start date
